Wind4U is an initiative in which six energy cooperatives have joined forces with the aim of generating electricity for 40,000 to 50,000 households. This is achieved by developing two wind farms with multiple wind turbines along the A28 in the Amersfoort/Soest region. The participating cooperatives strive for 100% local ownership, so that the proceeds benefit the local community and nature. wind4u.info
• Dealing with resident resistance: We supported Wind4U in addressing concerns and resistance from local residents regarding the placement of wind turbines. This included developing strategies for resident participation and facilitating dialogue to create support. • Press communication: We assisted in the preparation and distribution of press releases to ensure transparent and effective communication with the media and the public.
• Website development: We designed and developed the Wind4U website, with the aim of making information accessible to stakeholders and increasing community involvement.
Through our support, Wind4U has established a solid foundation for local involvement and communication, which contributes to the success of their sustainable energy projects in the region.
